Gady Frank has been appointed as acting Director-General of the Council for Higher Education and the Planning and Budgeting committee

The Minister of Education and Chairman of the CHE have decided to appoint Gady Frank as acting Director-General of CHE\PBC

 

The Brenner Committee for senior appointments in the public service (Headed by former judge Shalom Brenner) has approved the recommendation of the Minister of Education and Chairman of the CHE to appoint Mr. Gady Frank as acting Director-General of the CHE\PBC.

 

Gady Frank (33) obtains a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (CUM LAUDE) and Communication from Tel Aviv University, and a master’s degree (with thesis) in economics (CUM LAUDE) from Tel Aviv University.

 

Between the years 2006-2009 he has served as a senior economist and a member of the founding team of the National Economic Council in the Prime Minister’s office. Following that, between 2009 and 2011 he officiated as a Deputy Director-General for policy and planning in the CHE\PBC, and since 2011 as the Deputy Director-General for budgeting in the CHE\PBC.

 

The Minister of Education and Chairman of CHE, Rabbi Shai Piron was quoted saying: “Frank is very experienced in the Higher Education System. I am sure he will successfully fulfil the position during this period of transition, while making a substantial contribution to the system”.
