A program to absorb outstanding Chinese and Indian students for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree studies
As part of the comprehensive plan aimed at strengthening ties with India and China, the Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC) of the Council for Higher Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, seeks to encourage outstanding Chinese and Indian students to study for Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in Israel.
The program specifically aims at fields in which Israel has a significant advantage – Desert Studies, Chemistry, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Archaeology, Islam & Middle East Studies and Business Management – in order to strengthen the academic and cultural ties between the two countries.
Each year up to 40 scholarships are granted for Bachelors’ degree and up to 60 scholarships are granted for Masters’ degrees on the basis of academic excellence.
Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees scholarships are available in the following fields and universities:
Technion – Civil Engineering (BSc)
Technion – Chemistry (MSc)
Tel Aviv University – Archaeology and History of the Land of the Bible (M.A)
Tel Aviv University – Electrical Engineering (BSc)
Hebrew University – Islam & Middle East studies (M.A)
Ben Gurion University – Desert Studies (MSc)
Bar-Ilan University – International MBA (IMBA)
