בישיבתה ביום י"ב בכסלו תשפ"ב (16.11.2021) אימצה המועצה להשכלה גבוהה את המלצת ועדת המשנה להבטחת איכות  והחליטה כלהלן:

בהתאם לתוכנית הרב שנתית להערכת תחומי לימוד שאושרה בוועדת משנה להבטחת איכות ובמל"ג, במהלך שנה"ל תשפ"ב ייבדקו, בין היתר, תוכניות הלימודים בתחום ההיסטוריה.

המל"ג מאשרת את  ההרכב של ועדת הערכה בינלאומית בתחום זה, כלהלן:

• Steven Fraade – Chair. Mark Taper Professor of Religious Studies, Yale University, USA. (specialization: Early Mediterranean and West Asian Religions, Judaic Studies)
• Tamara Loos – Chair of the history department, Cornell University, USA. (specialization: Thailand and Southeast Asian Studies)
• Yitzhak Hen – Director of the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages, Hebrew University, Israel. (specialization: western Europe and the Mediterranean in Late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages)
• Michael Seidman – Professor at the School of history, University of North Carolina Wilmington, USA. (specialization: Modern Europe and social/individual history)
• Miri Rubin – Professor at the School of history, Queen Mary University, UK. (specialization: Medieval and Early Modern History)
• Dr. Christian Wiese, Martin Buber Professor for Jewish Religious Philosophy, University of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. (specialization: Jewish religious philosophy of the modern age, German-Jewish and European-Jewish intellectual and cultural history (
