A program to absorb outstanding Chinese and Indian students for summer courses in Israel

The Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC) of the Council for Higher Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, seeks to encourage outstanding Chinese and Indian students to become familiar with Israel and the Israeli academia through participating in short-term summer courses. The program was designed in order to strengthen the academic and cultural ties between the two countries and encourage Chinese and Indian students to continue to more advanced degree studies in Israel.

Each year the PBC provides up to 500 scholarships to Chinese and Indian students in 18 summer courses in a variety of fields.
