The CHE, through the QAU, maintains close relations with various quality assurance agencies around the world at a national and international level. The CHE is a member of international agencies dealing with accreditation and QA in higher education, such as INQAAHE, the CHEA International Committee, ENQA, ECA and the ENIC-NARIC forum. The CHE has also signed on MOU with the American organization ABET.

The purpose of these relations include the opportunity to keep abreast of current developments, to learn from the experience of others, to facilitate the recognition of degrees and of institutions worldwide and to consult with and receive assistance from colleagues in solving problems that arise from time to time.
